Parents: Jakob Michael HÖNIG, "Bäckermeister?" & Anna née BRIEFWECHSLER

Date and place of birth taken from her birth registration as well as the "Hausstandsbucher" (resident registration) for the Mittlegasse 13 location in Kassel, Germany where she lived with her parents and 4 siblings. The information from the "Hausstandsbucher" was provided by Mr. Florian Franzmann of the Kassel Stadtarchiv. He also stated that copies of the original records from Kassel, Germany were destroyed in 1943 due to a fire caused by bombing.

It should be noted that she relocated from Kassel to Nordrach, Freiburg, Germany on September 18, 1918. Perhaps she went to live there with her mother.
