Rosa M Stevens Barker Phillips

Rosa M. "Rosie" Parker was the daughter of Henry M Parker and Elvira Ledford [1863-1885]. She was born in the Caney Fork Community of Jackson County.

After the death of her mother, Rosa's father would remarry on 18 Oct 1890 to Cynthia Wood-Mills; the widow of Issac Jefferson Mills.

1. Rosa's 1st marriage around 1905 was to Steven E H "Huff" Stephens. {No marriage records found} They would have 1-son.
2. Her 2nd marriage around 1910 was to Warren Lawrence Barker [1882-1942] {No marriage records found} They would have 2-sons and 2-daughters.
3. Her 3rd marriage on 19 Apr 1944 in Rabun County, GA was to Cairs Marvin "Pink" Phillips; the widower of Ella Lucinda (Barker) Cochran-Phillips. No children were born to this marriage.

"Rosie" as she was called died at home in the Alarka Community from a pulmonary embolism as a result of breast cancer.

She was laid to rest near her children Robert Huff Stephens, Donald Dewey Barker and Charlotte {Barker} Bard.

She was 81-years of age.
