 Mrs. Rosalie Kukowski, 713 East Fourth street, died at her home at 1:35 p.m. Tuesday of the infirmities of age after an illness of three months. She was born July 30, 1852, in Lubin, Poland, and was 87 years old.  She came to the United States in 1868 and came directly to Winona where she lived for seven years after which she moved to Dodge, Wis., where she resided for 42 years coming back to Winona where she made her home for the last 22 years.

    She was a member of the Sacred Heart society of St. Stanislaus church here and of the Holy Rosary society of the Sacred Heart church in Pine Creek, Wis.  

  Survivors are nine children, Aloizy of Georgetown, Minn., John and Joseph of Beach, N.D., August of Dodge, Mrs. Mary Kulas of Marmarth, N.D., Mrs. George Davidshofer of Minneiska, Rose and Della of Chicago, and Emily, at home;  43 grandchildren; 41 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild and two sisters, Mrs. Julia Mitchell of Minneapolis and Mrs. John Zbylicki of Winona.  

 Funeral services will be conducted Saturday at 8:30 a.m. at the home and at 9 a.m. at St. Stanislaus church, the Rev. Peter S. Fafinski officiating, and burial will be in Sacred Heart cemetery in Pine Creek.  

  The rosary will be said at the home tonight and Friday evening at 7:30.
