Brief Bio: Rosetta Wilson was born about 1843. She married John Martin Kerns on April 29, 1877, in Crawford, Arkansas. They had seven children in 30 years. She died on November 19, 1930, in Richmond, Missouri, at the age of 87.

• "From my research I have discovered little on the ancestry of Rosetta; what i have learned is that her mother died when she was 2 years old and that her father left her in the care of an unknown family to raise.... the next instance is when she married John at the age of 16 in Arkansas.... family legend says that Rosetta was a full-blooded Cherokee, but no records have been found to support this, and without proof of her parents, or her life before marriage, it will be nearly impossible to prove ...."- jeffreyo671
