Winona Republican-Herald page 3, dated March 28, 1932 Obituary Death of Mrs. Rosalie Bronk
Mrs. Rosalie Bronk, 706 East fifth street, pioneer resident of Winona, died at 7 a.m. Sunday at her home after a four-days' illness. She had resided here 64 years [c. 1868]. Survivors are two sons, Julius and Thomas Bronk of Winona and 15 grandchildren. Her husband, Lawrence Bronk, died 43 years ago [1889]. Mrs. Bronk was a member of the Third Order Sisters of St. Franciscan and Holy Rosary and Sacred Heart societies of the St. Stanislaus church. Funeral services will be held Wednesday [March 30, 1932]. at 9 a.m. at the St. Stanislaus church, the Rt. Rev. J.W.J. Pacholski officiating. Preliminary services will be held at the home at 8:30 a.m. Burial will be in St. Mary's cemetery.
1872 (8 July) Andreas Kukowsky (40yrs), Rosalia Kukowsky (37yrs), Franska Kukowsky (17yrs), Vincent Kukowsky (14yrs), Leon Kukowsky (11yrs) & Marianna Kukowsky (7yrs) arrived in New York from Bremen/Geestemunde on the ship "Orpheus", with the destination of Minnesota. Also on board the ship were Rosalia Kukowsky (20yrs), Johann Kukowsky (18yrs) & Jacob Kukowsky (17yrs).
