About Ruperto Kapunan
Ruperto Kapunan was a Filipino lawyer and politician. He represented the third district of Leyte at the House of Representatives of the Philippine from June 2, 1925 to June 5, 1928. He later represented the fifth district of Leyte at the same house from June 2, 1931 to June 5, 1934, and again from September 16, 1935 to February 4, 1939, his death. He was a delegate to the Constitutional Convention representing the fourth district of Leyte in 1934.
