Footnotes

Ruth Ford (F) b. 7 September 1698, d. July 1772 Ruth Ford So much depends on proper parental match. In Ruth's case, two possible sets exist:

1) William Ford and his wife, Anna (sometimes seen as 'Foord') 2) Joseph Ford and Lois Stetson (again, sometimes seen as 'Foord')

One wonders if the same Ruth Ford married both David Joy AND Thomas Holbrook, or, if the one daughter of William married one, and the daughter of Joseph married the other? If only more solid evidence could be found on such lines, so many earlier ancestors could be properly added to the lineage. Her married name was Joy. She was born on 7 September 1698 at Pembroke, Plymouth County, Massachusetts, USA. She was baptized on 16 November 1698 at Pembroke, Plymouth County, Massachusetts, USA. She married David Joy, son of Joseph Joy and Elizabeth Andrews, on 13 October 1738 at Pembroke, Plymouth County, Massachusetts, USA. Ruth Ford died in July 1772 at Windham County, Connecticut, USA, at age 73.
