Ruth Althea Golbeck

GOLBECK, Ruth Althea (nee) Drudge Passed away on January 24, 2014 at her residence at Pinehaven Retirement Residence in Waterloo, at the age of 94 years. Ruth Golbeck, loving wife of the late Harold Golbeck (1979). Loving mother of Doug (Jan) of Waterloo, Jean Thuler of Waterloo, Richard of Waterloo, Glen (Wendy), David (Rose) both of Port Alberni, B.C. Loving grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother of several grandchildren. Fondly remembered by her sisters Mildred Schwartzentruber and Gladys Indoe. Predeceased by her parents Benjamin and Barbara Drudge, her son Wayne, brothers Alvin and Raymond Drudge. Also predeceased by her daughter-in-law Pat Golbeck and her son-in-law Richard Thuler. Ruth enjoyed quilting and sewing at the Bridgeport Community Centre. She always enjoyed her walking, travelling and the many trips that she took. Friends are invited to share their memories of Ruth with her family during visitation at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home , 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7- 9 p.m. The funeral service will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday, January 29, 2014 at 1 p.m. Interment to follow at Parkview Cemetery Waterloo. Reception in the Fireside Room of the Funeral Home.
