Ruth married Paul Kester on November 17, 1730, in the First Presbyterian Church of Philadelphia, (mouse over and click on marriage image right to enlarge it in a new window/tab) and they had six children – Samuel, born about 1731, married Leah Vickers; Margaret was born about 1732; ancestor William; Rebecca, born on February 12, 1738, married Joseph Webster; Mary, born on November 16, 1741, married Jonas Paxson; and John, born on September 31, 1744, married first Hannah Webster, and then Anne Parker. The children were raised in Solesbury, Bucks County, Pennsylvania. Ruth Kitchin died in 1744, possibly in childbirth with John, in Germantown in Philadelphia County, leaving her husband with six young children.
