Jeremiah married Ruth on 11 Oct 1696 in Stonington, New London Co., Connecticut. Ruth was born about 1682 [SiC] and was christened 16 Jul 1699 in Stonington, New London Co., Connecticut. She died in Stonington, New London Co., Connecticut.
Research failed to disclose her maiden name or name of her first husband. When the First Church was formed in what is now North Stonington. Jeremiah and Ruth were amoung its first members.
In his will dated February 24, 1726, Jeremiah names his three youngest sons, Nathaniel, John and Peter; his three eldest daughters not named, he names his youngest daughter, Hepzibah, and names his wife, Ruth as sole executor. He also gives five shillings to Ruth, wife of John Butler. She was Ruth Brown, daughter, of his wife by her first marriage.
Ruth married second, on October 11, 1699 at Stonington, Connecticut to Jeremiah Main b. 1678, d. November 11, 1727; 11 children:
