Sadie Kreider Kreider

Sadie was the 5th and last child born to the Mennonite family formed by Levi Groff Weaver and Amanda L. Kreider.

Sadie and John had two children they named Elmer J and Clarence H Kreider.

Research is still required to determine if Sadie and John were also cousins.

Mrs. Sadie K. Weaver Kreider, 98, formerly of 501 Strasburg Pike, died Tuesday at Landis Homes retirement community, Lititz R3, where she had resided since 1967. The wife of the late John S. Kreider, who died in 1918, she was the oldest member of Willow Street Mennonite Church.

On moving to Landis Homes, she worked in the kitchen for a few years and was active in braiding rugs and chair mats.

Born in East Lampeter Township, she was a daughter of the late Levi Groff and Amanda Landis Kreider Weaver.

Surviving are a son, Elmer J., Lancaster; three grandchildren; one step-granddaughter: and four great grandchildren.
