About Salamon Tauber
SALAMON [YEHOSHUA] TAUBER was b. in Sec, 3 Aug 1855, the son of Jonas and Katharina (Bermann) Tauber. He lived at Bystrice pod Hostynem [near Holesov, Moravia] for many years. He was murdered at Theresienstadt, 9 Feb 1943, age 88. Yad Vashem: “Salamon Tauber, b. 5 Aug 1855, on Transport Cn from Uhersky Brod to Terezin, 23 Jan 1943. Died at Terezin 9 Feb 1943.”
Salamon was married to Hermina [Chava] [Mina] Fischer, b. 1858. “Hermina Tauber, wife of the merchant in Bystrice p. H., d. 6 Jan 1930, age 71, heart failure.”
