Sarah "Sallie" YORK is the sixth of thirteen children born to Jeremiah YORK III and his wife Sarah ALLRED.
Sarah "Sallie" YORK age nineteen married on 15 Apr 1804 in Randolph County, North Carolina to Thomas "Tom" ALLRED, age twenty five. After their forth child was born Thomas ALLRED enlisted on 28 Nov 1814 in the War of 1812 and was discharged on 22 Feb 1815.
