About Salvatore Frank Bellino
Salvatore Frank Bellino, 85, died Oct. 6, 2005, at Broadmoor Assisted Living in Fort Pierce.
He was born in Brooklyn, N.Y., and lived in Port St. Lucie since 1982, coming from Massapequa, N.Y.
He served in the Army, 101st Airborne, Easy Company during World War II.
He received the Purple Heart and Bronze Star.
He was a foreman for the Massapequa Sanitation Department for more than 30 years.
He was a member of St. Lucie Catholic Church, Sons of Italy Lodge 2594 and the American Legion.
Survivors include his wife, Theresa Bellino of Port St. Lucie; sister, Lillian Sequino of Port St. Lucie; stepdaughter, Julia O'Connor of East Chester, N.Y.; and stepson, Dominick Torregrossa Jr. of St. James, N.Y.
He was preceded in death by brothers, Joseph and Michael Bellino.
SERVICES: Visitation will be from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Oct. 11 at Aycock Funeral Home, Port St. Lucie, where a prayer service will be at 7 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Oct. 12 at St. Lucie Catholic Church. Burial will be in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Fort Pierce.
