August 14, 1777 - Age: 43 Private Captain Parkers Co Col Benjamin Simonds Reg. Service at the Battle of Bennington (Mass Militia).
August 16, 1777 - Age: 43 Battle of Bennington Walloomsac New York. Battle of Bennington took place about 10 miles from Bennington Vermont about 200 men from New Hampshire and Massachusetts militia under Gen John Stark plus a Vermont contingent under Col Seth Warner. A Letter written by Col Stark says that they took 2 pieces of brass Canon then 2 more.
July 29, 1895 Certificate of Commission of Pensions issued.
Residing in Adams, Berkshire, Massachusetts in 1790.
Also found living 1790 in Westfield, Washington, New York next door to son Shubael.
Died in his 79th year.
