Samuel Baldwin, son of Joseph 1663 Baldwin and Eliabeth Grover, was b. at Malden, Mass. Jan. 30,1697/98. He settled, says Mr. Draper, author of the "History of Spencer, Mass." in a letter dated 1831, in Leicester, Mass. He m. with REBECCA GREEN, dau. of Rev. Thomas Green, of that place; and in 1736, they join in a conveyance of land in that place, and in a receipt for a legacy from her father.

Lewis' letter says they had: 2 daughters (names unknown).
