No record has been found of the birth of Samuel Belcher. The 1906 Belcher genealogy says he was born at Braintree, Massachusetts, on 19 Sep 1719, the son of Moses Belcher and Mary (Williams) Belcher.[1]
Marriage

The published vital records of Hopkinton, Massachusetts, say that Samuel Belcher of Braintree, Massachusetts, married Abigail Kimball at Hopkinton on 23 Dec 1743,[2] but see the Research Note below

Samuel Belcher died at Boston, Massachusetts, in February 1762.[1]

Research Note

The date of the marriage of Samuel Belcher and Abigail Kimball in the published Hopklnton vital records is 23 Dec 1743,[2], but the 1906 Belcher genealogy (which does not report the marriage or give Abigail's last name) says that the first known child of Samuel and Abigail Belcher, Samuel Belcher, was born on 24 Oct 1743 (place not given, and no source cited).[1] No other record has been found of the birth.
