Death 1720
According to an article by Tom Bliss, Bliss Magazine, Vol 2,No 20 Dec. 2007, Samuel Bliss, son of Thomas and Margaret [Hulins] Bliss, was baptised 04 February 1638 at St. Mary de Crypt Church in Gloucester, England.
What the writer guessed was that Thomas Bliss Sr. came to Massachusettts in 1638 with some of his older children (probably Thomas and Anne from his first marriage), but his 2nd wife Margaret stayed in England with the baby Samuel and her other children after father was taken ill. When the rest of Thomas' family arrived in New England was not cited in the article.
According to Springfield records, Samuel arrived Springfield 1646, resided there 74 years and died in Springfield 1720.
