About Samuel Henry Campbell
Samuel Campbell is the beginning chapter of many Campbell family in the Pennsylvania as he is the Earliest Campbell listed in the Spencer Kraybil book for the Pine Creek Valley area but there is another Campbell line who is not attached.
Samuel Campbell first came to America and settled in the West Branch Valley, then moving to Middle Creek area before finally moving to Pine Creek in Jersey Shore, Pennsylvania. The land he owned in 1840 was near the Tiadaghton Elm and he most likely took part of the 1776 Declaration in the area. He was a captain in the united states army.
Samuel Henry Campbell was born in 1738. He married Elizabeth (Ingals) English in 1759 in Pennsylvania. They had one child during their marriage. He died in 1820 in Kinzua, Pennsylvania, having lived a long life of 82 years.
