About Samuel Fellows, Jr.

Samuel Felloes, Jr., was born in Salisbury, Essex, in the Massachusetts Bay Colony on 13 January 1646/7. He was the son of Samuel Felloes and Ann (Unknown).[1]

Samuel married Abigail Barnard on 2 June 1681 in Salisbury,[2] where they registered the births of seven children:

Samuel Fellowes [sic] died intestate on 5 December 1729, in Salisbury, Essex County, Province of Massachusetts Bay.[11]

His widow, Abigail Fellows, petitioned the Essex County Probate Count on 27 Feb 1729/30, refusing administration on her husband's estate due to reasons of old age and infirmity, and asking that her son, Thomas Fellows, be granted administration in her stead. Her petition was granted.[12] Thomas Fellows, with Jonathan Greele and John Stevens as his sureties, signed the administration and inventory bond on 2 Mar 1730.[13] The inventory of the estate was dated earlier, on 19 Feb 1729/30, with an evaluation of £412 s1. It was accepted by William Bradbury, Judge of the Probate Court, on 2 Mar 1729/30.[14]
