Samuel was town clerk and treasurer.
He inherited the estate of his great uncle Nathaniel Livermore known as the "Lyman Farm" in Waltham. The original estate was from the Great Dividend granted to William Paine and bought of him by John Livermore. The old Livermore home stood on the northeast of the mansion house. The mansion home of Thedore Lyman was later removed to Main St.
The original property was 50 acres.

Biography
Samuel Livermore was born at Watertown, Massachusetts, on 14 Mar 1701/02, the son of Jonathan Livermore and Rebeckah (Barnes) Livermore.[1][2]
Samuel Livermore married four times:
On 10 Nov 1726, Samuel Livermore and Hannah Brown, both of Watertown, Massachusetts, married at Watertown.[3][4] She was the mother of all his children.
On 22 Jan 1765, Samuel Livermore and Hannah (Unknown) Harrington married at Waltham, Massachusetts.[3][5]
On 7 May 1767, Samuel Livermore and Joanna (Ruggles) Felton married at Waltham, Massachusetts.[3][6][7]
On 15 Mar 1770, Samuel Livermore and Thankful (Harrington) Cutting married at Waltham, Massachusetts.[3][8]
Samuel Livermore of Waltham, Massachusetts, made his will on 7 Aug 1773. He names his daughter, Hannah Potter; his son, Samuel; his daughter, Anna Ker; and his son, Elijah. The will was proved on 17 Aug 1773.[9]
Bond says that Samuel Livermore died on 7 Aug 1773,[3] the same day that he had made his will.
