Samuel Sanford was born on 5 October 1677 at Probably, Portsmouth, Newport County, Rhode Island. He was the son of Capt. John Sanford and Mary Gorton. Samuel Sanford married Deborah Manchester, daughter of William Manchester and Mary Cook, before 1704. Samuel Sanford was a schoolmaster on 25 July 1722 at Tiverton, Newport County, Rhode Island. He left a will on 27 December 1737. He was a weaver. He died on 3 September 1738 at Tiverton, Newport County, Rhode Island, at age 60. His estate was proved on 19 September 1738.
Samuel and his wife Deborah were both born on October 5, 1677, most probably in Portsmouth, Newport County, Rhode Island

I think this is a duplicate of Samuel. All reference to Nathaniel seem to point to him actually being Samuel. I will confirm before I delete this person
