Sarah Jane Ackley Rush

Birth: May 30, 1824 Greene County Pennsylvania, USA Death: Feb. 6, 1902 Oklahoma, USA

Sarah was born to Michael & Anna (BABBITT) RUSH on May 30, 1824 in Greene County, Pennsylvania. She married Samuel ACKLEY on April 21, 1852 in that same county. She died on February 6, 1902 in Keystone, Indian Territory. The cemetery was later moved from Keystone to the present location and the Keystone Dam was built in its place.

This tombstone photo was taken at the rural Sinnett Cemetery located about 12 miles west of Sand Springs (in Tulsa County) and 22 miles west of Tulsa. Sinnett Cemetery is located just off Highway 64/412 in Cimarron Twp., Pawnee County, Oklahoma in Sec 14 T20N, R9E (I believe in the NE corner of the section).
