Sarah Bradford, Granddaughter of Gov. William Bradford was born at Plymouth, Plymouth Colony (Massachusetts) about 1671 to William Bradford and his first wife Alice Richards. Sarah was the fifteenth child born to this couple. Her mother died shortly after her birth.[1]. Her father had a total of twenty children with three wives.
Sarah Bradford had married Kenelm Baker before October 1688 when their first child was born, and before 1694 when she was mentioned in her grandfather's will. The Bakers are credited with ten children, including a set of twins. [2]. Sarah Baker died before her husband, who passed away on or after September 29, 1612, the date of his will[3].

Alice Richards married William Bradford, Jr., the son of Gov. William Bradford of the Mayflower, on Jan. 28, 1649/50 in Plymouth. Alice gave birth to ten children: John, William, Thomas, Alice, Mercy, Hannah, Melatiah, Samuel, Mary and Sarah.
