His wife is reported to have been Sarah Almond but owing to the total destruction of the earlier Charles City records, nothing very definite is known concerning her, save that he married her before 1658, and she bore her husband three sons and two daughters including Mary Branch. Sarah presumably did not long survive her husband's premature death in 1665.

1. Mary Branch, born 1658 in Henrico County, Virginia; died 1715 in Charles City County, Virginia; married (1) Thomas Jefferson About 1677 in Henrico County, Virginia; married (2) Joseph Mattox April 01, 1701.
2. Sarah Branch, married Mr. Bennett.
3. Christopher Branch III, born About 1662; died 1727 in Henrico County, Virginia; married Anne Sherman Abt. 1694; born Before 1667 in Henrico County, Virginia; died August 1727 in Henrico County, Virginia.
4. Samuel Branch, b. 1863, d. 1700, m. Ursula Goode
5. Benjamin Branch, Was raised by his grandfather, Christopher Branch I, both parents having died during his infancy, married Tabitha Osborne About 1690; born About 1677 in Henrico County, Virginia[1]
