JAMES BRISCOE [Sr.], s. of Nathaniel and Mehitable, was baptized 6 May 1649 and died 25 October 1711. He married 6 November 1676 SARAH WHEELER,dau. of William and Sarah.

Wheeler, William. Of Statford, brother of Thomas of Milford, d. at Delaware in 1666. He m. Sarah ______, who m. (2) in 1666, William Brooks of Milford, and took her children there to live. She d. at Milford 5 June 1709 in 88 yr.

Will 17 Jan. 1666, proved 8 Nov. 1666; wife Sarah; bro. Thomas Wheeler; two sons and dau.; Nathanial Wheeler was a witness. Sarah Brooks presented the Inv.

His children are named in will of his bro. Thomas as living at Milford. The will of William Brooks, 1 Dec. 1684, named wife Sarah; two shillings to the wife Thomas Wildman, she having rec'd her portion, "and I doe further declare yt I know not that shee is any ways related to mee"; William and Thomas Theeler, sons of my wife; Sarah wife of James Biscoe; Hannah dau. of Elder Bucingham; Richard Bryan and Jobamah Gunn.
