Children of Thomas Whitney and Mary "Kedall or Kettle": 8) Sarah, b. 23 Mar 1666, m. 11 Apr 1699 Charles Chadwick. [Note: Since Nathaniel Whitney's probate (i.e., not Thomas') names a daughter Sarah Chadwick, and since a birth in 1667 would make Sarah 7 1/2 years older than her putative husband (b. 1674), it seems probable that Pierce's identification of her marriage is incorrect. This error seems to originate with Bond, p. 644. There is no probate file for Thomas Whitney to provide any clue who his daughter Sarah did marry.]
