Pateros – Sadie Edna Louise Dicus, 84, died Saturday after a long illness.

Mrs. Dicus was born Feb. 28, 1882, in Quebec, Canada. She moved with her parents to Centralia when a small child and then to a homestead in the Big Bend country.

She married Alfred Dicus Nov. 25, 1900, and in 1906 moved to Pateros.

Surviving are: her husband; two daughters, Eva Sanderson and Jessie Lawless, both of Pateros; three sons, Whitey Dicus, Tonasket; David Dicus, Pateros; Frank Dicus, Chelan; three sisters, Clara McKenzie, Lewiston, Idaho; Grace Haight, Spokane; and Gladys Snyder, Seattle; one adopted brother, Ken Sanderson, Pateros; six granchidren and 12 great-grandchildren. One daughter preceded her in death.
