page 276 Under date 13 July 1726 it is stated that Sarah Hansford of Spotsylvania county wife of William Hansford is the widow of Alexander Doniphan and has good title to one third interest in 150 acres in Stafford County, Virginia. That interest she sells to Anthony Thornton.
