!28 Jul 1701: Elizabeth Barnard, widow of Stafford County, Virginia, deeded to Alexander Doniphan 150 acres in Stafford County, Virginia, stipulating that if he died without issue it should revert to herself or her heirs. Stafford County, VA, Book "Z", page 87.

!1703: Captain Alexander Doniphan (the father) deeded his son 250 acres of land in Richmond County, Virginia, which Alexander Jr. sold the following year having been joined in the conveyance by ELIZABETH (unknown), his wife. Richmond County VA, D. B. 34, page 7.
