About Sarah Ann Hay
She was the daughter of John Plant (died 1808) and Mary Ann Davis Plant. Their places of burial are unknown as of September 23, 2017. On September 28, 1819 as Sarah Ann Plant, she married Henry Haye in the District of Columbia.
The Evening Star Monday, August 14, 1882 Died Hay. At the residence of her son-in-law, Mr. Columbus Alexander, on Sunday, August 13, 1882, in the 83d year of her age, Mrs. Sarah A. Hay, relict of the late Colonel Henry Hay, of Washington, D.C. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral on Wednesday, the 16th instant.
