Sarah Hoover

HOOVER, Sarah Sarah Hoover, passed away peacefully Thursday, November 12, 2015, at Knollcrest Lodge in Milverton. She was born December 14, 1923 in St. Jacobs, Ontario. Sarah was the daughter of the late Manoah and Selina Martin. Beloved wife of the late Anson Hoover (2008) whom she married February 29, 1944. Loving mother of Cleason (Eleanor) Hoover of Aylmer; David (Minerva) Hoover of Wroxeter; Nancy (Menno) Brubacher; Velina (John) Showalter of Greencastle, Pennsylvania; Susie (Gerry) Wagler of Stratford; and Peter (Susan) Hoover of Tasmania, Australia. Sister of Mary Ann, Louisa, Melinda, Selina, Manoah, and the late Hannah, Elizabeth, David, and Lydia. She will be missed by 54 grandchildren (predeceased by four) and 211 great-grandchildren (predeceased by one). Sarah was a member of the Corinth Conservative Mennonite Church, Aylmer District. Family and friends may call at the Mark Jutzi Funeral Home, 7 Spencer St., Milverton, Saturday, 2-4 p.m. and again Sunday 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. The Funeral Service will take place Monday, November 16th at 1 p.m. at Cedar Grove Church, 4826 Deborah Glaister Line, New Hamburg, Ontario. Interment to follow at Bethel Conservative Mennonite Cemetery in Millbank.
