Sarah (Knowles) Carpenter

Sarah Knowles was the ninth of ten children born of Henry Knowles and Susanna Anthony. She married John P. Carpenter and they had three children:

Sarah Knowles Carpenter was the ninth of ten children born to Henry Knowles and Susanna Anthony. She married John P. Carpenter and they had five children. All were devout Quakers.

2. Alice B. Carpenter b.1856, b. Oneida Co. ; d. 1903 m. Adelbert W. Tackabury 1842-1901

3. Susie Carpenter b. circa 1859, b. Oneida Co. ; d. at 17 yrs old in 1876.

4. Edward Carpenter, b. circa 1864, Chenango
