About Susannah Knowles (Anthony)
Susanna Anthony, was the second of nine children born to Abraham Anthony and Lettish Smith of Portsmouth, RI. She married Henry Knowles on July 5, 1809 and in 1819 they were early settlers in Whitestown, NY.
They moved to Smyrna, NY not long after. The Anthonys had 7 children:

Henry's will in 1877 names a grandson Charles E. Boss. The first four children (Henry through Mary)

Her husband,Henry Knowles, was born on what is known as Gov. Sprague's property in South Kingston, RI on Feb. 21, 1811. Henry Knowles and Susan Anthony, were the parents of 10 children (5 sons,5 daughters). In 1819 his parents emigrated to Oneida County, NY and 2 years later moved to Smyrna, Chenango County, NY.
