SPECULATIVE! Per John Amstfiled, "It is entirely possible, perhaps even likely, that Jean Rochon (born abt. 1660) who emigrated to Pinache, Germany, was the son of Pierre and Susan (Malan) Rochon born and living in the same general region with a line of descent in Piedmont that likely exists to the present day. I have no evidence to prove a connection, but I believe there is a connection either directly or indirectly." (John J. Amtsfield)
