Sarah Plummer, her Last Will and Testament, dated 1 Mar 1788 in Frederick Co MD; To her daughter, Casandra Ballinger - thirty pounds current money; To her granddaughter Sarah Harriss, her heirs or assigns -- thirty pounds current money, one feather bed and proper covering and no more; Her son-in-law, Anthony Poultney, his heirs and assigns, part of a tract of land called Turkey Flight where his dwelling house is now; Her daughter Ursula Plummer, her heirs and assigns, dwelling houses with the residue of the tract of land called Turkey Flight not heretofore willed; To her six children, Ruth Holland, Thomas Plummer, Joseph Plummer, Samuel Plumer, Abraham Plummer and Sarah Janoy (could be Janey) and their heirs and assigns, six pounds current money to be equally divided amongst the said six children and no more; To her four daughters, Rachael Harriss, Ursula Plummer, Anna Talbott, and Susannah Poultney, their heirs or assigns the residue of the estate once bills, bonds or notes have been paid; Joint executors -- son-in-law Joseph Talbott; son-in-law Anthony Poultney; Witnesses, John Talbott, William Morsett, Yate Plummer.
Codicil - 18 May 1783. To her daughter Casander (sic) Ballinger and granddaughter Sarah Harriss now Sarah Janey, each ten pounds current money and no more; To the schooling of two negroes bound to two of the Wells in Prince Georges County by name Jacob and James.
