Disputed Origins
Per the reference cited: "According to many reports, Sarah was the daughter of John and Sarah (Fitch) Weston, but comparison of dates makes that seem unlikely. The record is clear that John Milk married a Sarah Weston April 3, 1665 at Salem. The record seems equally clear that John and Sarah (Fitch) Weston had a daughter Sarah, b July 15, 1656. If those dates are correct, and IF John Milk married this Sarah Weston, then she would have been about three months short of nine years old when she was married, and about twelve years at the birth of her first child. this seems highly improbable. Perhaps John Milk married a sister of the John Weston who married Sarah Fitch, and both John and Sarah were children of an earlier John Weston. To further confuse the matter, it appears that John Milk's granddaughter Sarah, daughter of his daughter Mary, also married a John Weston.
