SARAH LOOMIS was born in 1617 at Messing, Essex, England. She sailed to America with her siblings and parents in 1638 aboard the ship “Susan and Ellen”, arriving at Boston July 17th, 1638. She married, on 28 Sept 1640, NICHOLAS OLMSTED of Hartford, Connecticut. Nicholas came to America in the “Lion,” arriving at Boston, Massachusetts, on 16 September 1633. They had 8 children. Nicholas died on 31 August 1684. Sarah died at Hartford, Connecticut, on 28 August 1689.
