About Sarah "Sally" Hough

Sarah Bivens Hough BIRTH 1763 Anson County, North Carolina, USA DEATH Oct 1836 (aged 72–73) Lancaster County, South Carolina, USA BURIAL Burial Details Unknown, Specifically: An unconfirmed but likely at a family plot at White Plains Baptist Church, Jefferson, South Carolina near other known family members. See Memorial #61511402. MEMORIAL ID 61516541

She outlived her husband Amos. They always lived in Chesterfield county along Lynche's River. There is a nearly empty area at White Plains Baptist Church in Jefferson near the front of the church. There is one marker with the name of a great granddaughter of Amos and Sarah, Annie Eliza near the "H" marker which has been labeled as her son Joseph. That "H" stone could be for Moses or another child; it's age suggests the generation. Joseph's son, William Hough, born 1810, is also buried in the cemetery with another grandchild who died young.
