This grave is located exactly where contributors "jtf" say it is. They transferred the memorial to me out of kindness, I didn't know another memorial had been made until I received notice of the transfer. I left flowers on another memorial, but I knew she wasn't laid to rest in Casey Co. or in Flat Lick Cemetery. Her grave is on private land.
The grave is visited every Memorial Day and flowers are left by a couple. The husband is a 6th great-grandson of Mrs. Mckenzie. Several years ago, when they discovered I am also a descendant, they gave me a photo they took of the stone. This couple volunteered at the Pulaski County Historical Society for years. They are dedicated researchers and keep detailed records of burials in several cemeteries. I can't imagine how many miles they have driven while searching for graves of family members of the people in the cemeteries they have taken under their wing.
I have been contacted twice about this duplicate. Since it has the correct burial location I don't think it should be deleted. A side note, my friends who leave flowers are not members of Find A Grave.
Nov. 27, 2016 Darla * There is more information on memorial # 134124267. 7-23-18 dss∼I have not been able to prove with great certainty who Sarah's parents were; some list them as David Dalton and Hannah Grant Dalton; others say John and Patience Dalton.
She married Alexander Daniel McKenzie in 1762, possibly in Scotland as that is where he was born.
The couple had 7 boys and 4 girls:
David, Daniel, Benjamin Franklin, Reuben, Lacy, Asa and James ~
Elizabeth, Jane/Jenny, Polly and Rachel.
Sarah is also my 6th Great Grandmother.
If you can provide reliable documentation as to who Sarah's parents are, please contact me and thank you!

There is great debate of the whereabouts of Sarah's final resting place. Some say she's in the Flat Lick Baptist Cemetery, some say the Old Bobbitt Cemetery, etc. If you can prove where Sarah is buried, by cemetery record, a photocopy, site where you found the information, page and number, reference, etc., then I will change the burial information.

- *Member Karen Adams #48297424, provided information from a deposition given by Sarah's sister, Rachel, in 1819:
To wit: A 1819 deposition by her sister, Rachel (Dalton) Dyer confirmed Daniel Dalton & Hanna as parents and that "Sarah was the wife of Daniel McKenzie, deceased, who lived at Seven Islands on the James River, and the mother of Alexander, her eldest son."
