She was born November 28, 1876, a daughter of Joseph and Emma Tribe Goddard. As a young girl she resided in Forest Dale and Bountiful with her parents, moving to Ogden in 1898. Mrs. Sessions was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints 11th ward, and had been active in church organizations. She was married to Mr. Sessions on January 3, 1901, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Mr Sessions died July 3, 1915, in Ogden.

Surviving are one son and the following daughters; Ronald G. Sessions, Mrs. Derrah B. Van Dyke, Mrs Jack Docktor, Ogden; Mrs Floyd C. Jackson, Mrs Vaun C. Parry, Salt Lake City, eight grandchildren and the following brothers and sisters; Ernest T. Goddard, Los Angeles, California, Frank R. and Harold T. Goddard and Mrs. J.L. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday at 1 p.m. in Lindquist and Sons Mortuary with Virgil C. Toller, ward bishop of the 11th LDS Ward officiating. Friends may call at the funeral chapel Friday from 6 to 9 p.m. and Saturday until time of services. Burial will be in Ogden City Cemetery.

She will be remembered as a loving and kind mother and grandma. She was the kind of person who would never let anyone put anything over on her. Her granddaughter Marylyn (my mom) remembers the times she would go to Ogden from Salt Lake and stay with her and Uncle Ron. Mom always had a good time when she went and remembers the kind, loving ways of her beloved Grandmother Sessions. Love to you from your Great Granddaughter!
