Sarah Roper

Sarah Snell was the wife of James Roper, from 1830 to 1844; they farmed in Chideock and in Whitechurch Canonicorum, both in Dorset, England, where they had about 7 children. James and Sarah were enumerated in the 1841 census, in Ryall, Dorset, where the family comprised: James Roper 30, Sarah 30, James 10, Sarah 8, Ann 6, Jane 4 and William 2. James died in 1844..

In 1851, Sarah married (2) William Henry Hopkins Hunt, who was an Innkeeper in the Five Bells Inn, Whitechurch Canonicorum, Dorset.
