About Sarah Sallie Steed
When Sarah Redding married Nathaniel Steed on September 29, 1830, in Randolph County, North Carolina, the bondsman was Samuel Coffin and the witness was Hugh McCain. Saran and Nat had 10 children, but sadly she died in childbirth of their 10th child, a son, in August of 1851. Seven years later Nathaniel married again.
