  • She married (3) JOSEPH WOODFORD February 14, 1743/44. He was born 1677 in Farmington, Hartford County, Connecticut, and died February 27, 1760 in Avon, Hartford County, Connecticut.

Sarah's second husband, Major John Garrett, born in West Simsbury, Connecticut, Colony, in 1727, was the oldest son and third child of Francis Garrett, and his wife, Sarah (Mills) Tuller, born 1696, died 1797, in her 101st year. Sarah was the daughter of John Mills, of West Simsbury, and the widow of Samuel Tuller, whom she married in 1715. She married 2d, Francis Garrett in 1722, and after his death in 1731 she married 3d, 1745, Captain Joseph Woodford, who was born 1676 and died January 1760.



Sarah was the daughter of John and Sarah Pettibone Mills. She married:

  1. Samuel Tuller Jan 6, 1714 in Simsbury, Hartford, Connecticut Colony. He passed on Jan. 13, 1720 at Simsbury.
  2. Francis Garrett March 19, 1723 in Simsbury, Hartford, Connecticut Colony. He passed June 24, 1731 at Simsbury.
  3. William Roberts March 12, 1735. He passed Jan. 4, 1761 at Simsbury.
  4. Joseph Woodford II Feb. 14, 1744 Simsbury, Hartford County, Connecticut Colony. He passed on Feb. 2, 1760 at Avon.

According to my grandmother's notes she and her children (John, Francis Jr., Sarah and Susannah and another child expected) were mentioned in her husband's will (Francis Garrett). She was the widow of Samuel Tuller who died in 1719 when she married Garrett.and later married Joseph Woodford of Farmington, Conn on Feb 14, 11774-5
She lived to be 101 years old
