   She crossed the Atlantic from South Africa in 1864 on the ship "Susan Pardew."   Church ordinance records prove she was in Utah by 16 Mar. 1867. Her mother and other members of her family sailed in 1865 and were in the William S. S. Willies Company of that year.

She married Arthur Pendry Welchman in Utah.
