1. Sarah (born Sarah Bartlett on May 26, 1741 was the 12th of 12 children, 2 of whom predeceased her birth leaving 10 living children in the family. Sarah was named Sarah after her deceased sister Sarah b. Dec. 25, 1735 but died within a month - Jan., 1736). Sarah Bartlett had four marriages, first Stephen Ferguson, 2nd Captain John Wentworth (1736-1781), 3rd ? and 4th?, probably Captain Nathaniel Evelith. (Ref: mainly Stackpole 1903:284).
2. While she was wife of Captain John Wentworth she gave birth to Samuel Solley Wentworth on Sept. 29, 1771 at Cape Elizabeth, Maine. She was age 30 at the time.
3. Sarah's full maiden name was preserved when her granddaughter Sarah Bartlett Wentworth was born in 1794.
