Sarah Stearns Wheeler (1661 - 1741) - Sarah Stearns was born on 14 January 1661 in Cambridge, Middlesex County, Massachusetts, the daughter of Isaac Stearns and Sarah Beers. Her father died in 1676 and her mother remarried the next year, to Thomas Wheeler of Concord. Thomas had a son, John, from his first wife. Sarah married John Wheeler on 27 December 1678 in Concord, Middlesex County, Massachusetts.
John and Sarah had seven children, all born in Concord. In the vital records of Concord, John was called "Deacon", so he must have been active in the church. Sarah died in Concord in December 1727. John died on 1 December 1736. John may have had a second wife, also named Sarah, who outlived him and died 18 April 1741.
