13.  SARAH5 PHIPPS (SOLOMON4, SOLOMON3, JOHN2, WILLIAM1) was born March 13, 1687/88 in Charlestown, Middlesex Co., Massachusetts, baptised: January 18, 1687/88, Charlestown, Suffolk Co., Massachusetts, and died January 12, 1750 at Brookline, Massachusetts. 

She married

• (1) CAPTAIN CALEB GARDNER April 10, 1707 in Cambridge, Suffolk Co., Massachusetts, son of JOSHUA GARDNER of Brookline, Middlesex Co., Massachusetts, and died 1716, tanner. Estate; C.G and wife to Robert Wyer, 4 1/2 acres, late of Solomon Phipps, W 3 pole way; E P. Fowle, R. Mousal; S John Fowle; N chdn. of S. P.; 1709. With Phipps heirs 1712.
• (2) CAPTAIN JOHN WINCHESTER abt 1717 in Brookline, Middlesex Co., Massachusetts, son of JOHN WINCHESTER and JOANNA STEVENS. He was born April 17, 1676 Muddy River, and died September 27, 1751 at Muddy River (Brookline).  

Children of SARAH PHIPPS and JOHN WINCHESTER are:

• i. DANFORTH8 WINCHESTER, b. March 18, 1718/19; d. young.
•  ii. BETHIA WINCHESTER, b. December 20, 1720; d. September 2, 1722.
• iii. SAMUEL WINCHESTER, b. December 1722; d. July 13, 1751. Probably the Samuel who m. November 19, 1747, JOANNA WEST, dau. of BENJAMIN WEST and JOANNA SWINERTON of Roxbury, MA.
• 39. iv. NATHAN WINCHESTER, b. April 16, 1724, Brookline, Middlesex Co., Massachusetts; d. May 31, 1802, Rosette, Nova Scotia. 
•  v. MARTHA WINCHESTER, b. November 23, 1728. 
• vi. ABIGAIL WINCHESTER, baptised September 1, 1734.
