About Sebastian Seibold
This information was written in a letter from Elizabeth Madl, Bischofsreut, Bavaria, Germany, in 1998 to Jean Reischl Dunn, Oshkosh, WI.
Sebastian became the successor to the parental property. On March 14, 1758. George Seibold was buried in Grainet at the age of 70 years, his legal wife Sophia followed him on January 1, 1768 to the Graineter Cemetery.
Sebastian Seibold, who was born on January 14, 1724 in Bischofsreut, married on his 29th birthday in the Graineter Church the Bischofsreuteress Juliane Berger. This was the daughter of the Bischofsreuter farmer married couple Johann Berger and Barbara Wagner, of the Bischofsreuter "frontier landlord holder", the house number 15, today known as the "old Braeuhaus" (brewery house"). Twelve children of Juliane Seibold were brought into the world in Bischofsreut, whereby son Matthias took over the parental property and our line of ancestors continued. On January 11, 1789 Juliane Seibold died, her husband Sebastian shut his eyes on April 16, of the year 1791.
