2. Delevan DeLance (Delevan) appears to have lived in town until about 1797 and his subsequent life is unknown. He m. Anna Blish, b. Glastonbury, Conn., July 22, 1776, dau. of David and Lucy (Wilcox) Blish of Gilsum and S.

i. Daulphin Francis Jan. 29, 1795

...then...Surry Aug. 17, 1839 Daulphin Delance and family, town paupers of Surry have left town. All persons arehereby forbid harboring or trusting them.

About 1845 thetown sold his property at public auction He lived his last days in town at No. 138.
